Star Denies Anti-Vaccine Views Following Lending His Voice To Controversial Pandemic Film

The "Taken" star has provided his voice to a new documentary that questions the safety of vaccinations and lauds former government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Disputed Foundation

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is adapted from a popular book published by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the global outbreak for claims that Covid was caused by a bad strain of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, a producer, has also written books with far-right media personality Alex Jones. He wrote online hailing Neeson's role in the project.

A Firm Denial

Representatives for the actor have released a statement firmly refuting implications that he subscribes to anti-vax sentiments.

"Everyone can recognize that misconduct can exist within the medical sector, but that should never be equated to opposition to vaccines," the statement explains. "Neeson is not, and remains not, against vaccines. His extensive work with the UN children's agency reinforces his enduring support for public-health initiatives."

It added that the performer was not involved in crafting the film's messaging and that inquiries about its assertions ought to go to the filmmakers.

Key Claims Featured in the Feature

In the film, the narration provided by Neeson includes several strong statements:

  • It states that pro-vaccine voices have called for "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It declares that "medical science has become deeply politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is featured saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they simply are not safely tested."
  • The narration takes aim at stay-at-home orders, claiming they caused psychological harm that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of Covid vaccines, it references a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Past Controversy and Ongoing Issues

It further cites a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was afterwards the focus of a BBC apology by the broadcaster for editorial breaches.

Recently, Kennedy directed the Centers for Disease Control to change its longstanding position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This claim is echoed in the documentary, even with a fresh analysis from the WHO stating no such link has been found.

A Previous Record of Support

Standing in contrast to the documentary's tone, Neeson has in the past expressed firm endorsement for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he referred to vaccines as "an incredible human success story," stating that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The film concludes with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This is not the finish of our narrative. It is the start of a different phase."
