An early access event allowing users a shot to test the game in recent months set new benchmarks, and the buzz heading into its release has been massive.

But the endeavor is nevertheless a big gamble for publisher the gaming giant, which has reportedly spent hundreds of millions of dollars making it.

Reporters have spoken to some of the creators to learn how they expect it will be profitable.

Development Crew and Studio Collaboration

Several development houses are developing the title under the collaborative banner.

They include veteran creator the original team, headquartered in Scandinavia, Los Angeles-based Motive team and Ripple Effect Studios in Canada.

One more, the Guildford team, is based in the UK.

A key leader is the general manager of the two European developers, and shares with reporters that, in respect of what it's offering gamers, "the latest installment is likely unsurpassed."

Learning From Earlier Mistakes

The game follows the heels of the futuristic the last installment, published four years ago to a poor response it found it hard to bounce back from.

"We probably couldn't build and design this new game lacking the learnings we gained in the previous title," she shares with the press.

Among those lessons was to engage fans involved soon, and the team initiated exclusive community testing sessions in recent months.

Their "reaction was extremely encouraging," says Rebecka.

A further missing component from the last game was a story mode, which has been reintroduced for this release.

The Guildford team design director the design director is the person in charge of "ensuring those levels are as entertaining and compelling as possible for the gamers."

Regardless of claims that the size of the game had created pressure for the different teams working together internationally to develop the game, the director is positive about the endeavor.

"Working with diverse perspectives, varied backgrounds, it's a truly interesting environment to be involved in daily," he shares.

"The complete approach has been an innovation but something really exciting because we are collaborating with team members from around the globe."

Regarding the anticipation on the developers, Fas states: "We feel stress but also it's motivating.

"We're dealing with a big venture. It's probably the largest that most of us have before been involved in."

Young Talent Adds Innovative Insight

That's certainly true of no less than an individual developer, visual designer Vlad Kokhan.

This young professional makes the visual ambiance that influence the tone, tone, and focus of the story mode.

He undertook an internship at Criterion prior to getting a role with them, and now operates part-time while concluding his VFX studies at the university.

The developer explains he's a dedicated supporter of the franchise, and recalls experiencing the previous game of the line at a friend's house when he was in his youth.

Being on it now, as his initial career position, "is hard to believe as actual."

"It's truly amazing observing the promotion in many places," he says.

"Realizing that I have added my individual work into the project is very unbelievable."

Launch Predictions and Future Plans

The new game's debut is projected to be a major one, with analysts forecasting it could sell as many as five million {copies|units|versions
