Barcelona Set to Play Historic Match at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend
Barcelona have announced they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league over two years since relocating to allow renovations to start.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.
Recent Activities
Barça organized a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium on 7 November. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from Uefa to host the next European match facing Eintracht next month in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
